For the second year in a row, Equatorial Guinea is ranked 163 of 177 in Transparency International’s 2013 Corruption Perceptions Index. This ranking ties the country with Chad, Guinea Bissau, and Haiti. To “earn” this spot, Equatorial Guinea scored a 19; the index gives scores on a scale of 0-100, where 100 means the country is perceived as very clean and 0 means the country is highly corrupt.
