(Washington DC, March 24, 2021) Tutu Alicante, EG Justice Executive Directo had the honor to testify yesterday before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission as the U.S. House of Congress kicked off the reauthorization process for the Global Magnitsky Act. Which has opened the opportunity to assess the effectiveness of its sanctions regime.

EG Justice welcomed this important opportunity to make the case for expanding the Global Magnitsky sanctions to crack down on the unscrupulous enablers who facilitate kleptocrats like the Obiang regime the network and resources they need to funnel their looted riches.
