The Biblioteca Nacional De Guinea Ecuatorial operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture. It is the primary agency charged with preserving, conserving, and publicizing the archived collections of Equatorial Guinea. It strives to become a focal point for research on Equatoguinean culture in various domains, including painting, sculpture, cinema, theater, etc.

The Spanish Cultural Center in Bata is part of a global network of cultural centers. Along with the Spanish Cultural Center in Malabo, it is one of only two Spanish Cultural centers on the African continent.
